Leading Woven Wire Mesh Cloth Manufacturers in India
High Quality Woven Wire Mesh Cloth
Wiremesh can be manufactured using those type of metal or alloy ,which can be drawn into wire which could be further weaved.
Wire mesh are made up of several type of metal and alloy , depending upon the nature of use, outcome and the cost.
Few basic consideration which matter while selecting the wiremesh are:
- Strength required(yield, tensile)
- resistance towards chemical, corrosion, heat, wear and tear, etc.
- Suitability for welding, heat treatment, and forming.
Types of Woven Wire Mesh Cloth
- Polyester Oriental Yarn.
- Polyester Stable Fibers.
- Polypropylene Yarn.
- Nylon and Acrylic Yarn.
- BCF Polypropylene Yarn.
- Polypropylene Spun bonded Non-woven Fabrics.
Basic Wire Mesh Cloth Terminology
Wire Mesh Cloth Terminology
OFF COUNT: A Wire Mesh with a greater number of wires per linear inch in one direction – usually warp (vertical). Also called “Rectangular Mesh”.
MESH: Wire cloth specifications that are commonly woven and stocked.
BOLTING CLOTH: Relatively light wire meshes produced by weaving finer-than-standard wire diameters for any given mesh.
Primarily used in sifting and screen printing; however, its relatively high Open Area percentage makes it a desirable wire mesh used for many applications.
MARKET GRADE: Wire cloth specifications that are commonly woven and stocked.
OPENING: The distance between two parallel, adjacent wires usually expressed in decimal inches. The theoretical width of an opening is a direct function of the mesh count and wire diameter, both for which there is a manufacturing tolerance.
OPEN AREA: The ratio of the area of the openings to the total area.
SELVAGE: The edge or border of wire cloth, finished to prevent unraveling (versus a raw or cut edge.) Types of selvage edges include looped, folded, welded, and fine mesh border patterns.
PLAIN WEAVE: Weave pattern where each wire goes alternately under then over each successive wire.
SQUARE MESH: A Wire Mesh with an identical number of wires per linear inch in both warp (vertical) and shute (horizontal) directions.
SHUTE WIRES: Wires running across the woven cloth, perpendicular to warp wires. Also called “fill” or “weft” wires.
TWILL WEAVE: Weave pattern where each wire goes alternately over two wires then under two successive wires.
“Herringbone Twill” is a special type, in which the direction of the twilled weave is reversed at regular intervals to produce a striped effect.
WARP WIRES: Wires running the vertical length of woven Wire Cloth.
WIRE DIAMETER: Normally referred to in decimal parts of an inch; a determining factor in a weave’s mesh counts.
COMMON WEAVE PATTERNS OF WIRE MESH
Square Mesh, Plain Weave
Each warp wire (length) and each waft wire (width) pass over one and under the next adjacent wire.
Square Mesh, Twilled Weave
Each wire passes successively over and the next adjacent pair of wires.
Dutch Plain Weave
Warp wire are generally larger than waft wires. Waft wires are closely spaced to provide a dense weave
Dutch Twilled Weave
Warp wire are larger than warp wire. Warp are closely spaced to provide wedge shaped openings.
