Nickel Alloy : Type N 200

  • It is the most commercial and economical amongst the other nickel types
  • Highly resistant to caustic alkalis
  • It has a maximum carbon level of 0.15%
  • Highly ductile in wide range of temperature
  • High electrical and thermal conductivity as compared to Stainless steel and low alloy steel
  • Good ductility and low work hardening rate

Nickel Alloy : Type N 201

  • This nickel alloy has lower carbon percentage as compared to N 200
  • Due to the decrease in the carbon content by a small margin , this nickel grade can withstand exposure to temperatures above 315°C (600°F)

  • Good magnetostrictive properties.
  • High electrical and thermal conductivity
  • Good ductility and low work hardening rate
